I had the opportunity to work as textile buying intern for Anthropologie and was given the chance to create a beach towel collection based on a competitive analysis. I researched 6 companies, including Anthro, and looked into where each stood in respects to aesthetics, quality and price range. From there I applied opportunities I saw in the market and implemented them into my designs.
Opportunities I saw for Anthro were an expansion into the novelty market as well as the opportunity to digitally print beach towels to open a new price point.
